Obviously we need to maintain balance in the numbers
between the various instruments, but we never like to turn anyone
away.
You will need to be able to read music and be able
to play your chosen instrument to some level of proficiency (minimum
grade 4 suggested).
We do have some band instruments which are lent to
members. The Band is a nonprofit making organization. There are no
subscription, the band manages to cover costs by fund raising concerts.
There will be no embarrassing audition. You will be
invited to sit in at a rehearsal to see if the band suits you.
Rehearsals are held in Yeovil Somerset England on most
Thursday evenings 7:45p.m. to 9:45 p.m. The atmosphere is relaxed
and friendly.
